Super Eagles’ defender Joseph Yobo in the early hours on the new year’s day took former Miss Nigeria, Adaeze Igwe to the altar at the Evangelical Bible Out reach Ministries International (EBOMI) prayer city in Jos.
The General Overseer of EBOMI Prayer City, Prophet Isah El Buba while officiating at the early morning wedding which was witnessed by Governor Jonah Jang and his top government functionaries at the meeting, described Yobo and his new wife, Adaeze as born again Christians, who gave their lives to Jesus during their recent encounter with him in London.

According to him, the solemnization of the wedding became necessary as the duo have dropped their past mistakes and embraced God, urging them to always put God first in all their endeavours .
Prophet Buba said God ordained marriage and as such whoever found a wife has found a good thing in the sight of the lord.
In a similar vein, Governor Jang who is one of the ordained ministers at the EBOMI Prayer City while giving advice to the couple urged to love one another.
Buba called on the couple to take marriage with all the seriousness it deserves, noting that marriage is a glorious thing that calls for tolerance from both partners.
He told Yobo that since he was going to lead his colleagues to the Africa Cup of Nations in Angola and World Cup in South Africa, his wedding has prepared him to go for a glorious outing at the tournaments
The newly wedded couple exchanged marital vows with fixing of rings in each other’s hands amidst cheers from their well-wishers and relations who stormed Jos for the wedding.
The couple immediately after their wedding venue left for their hotel rooms with their relations for a private reception.
Yobo refused to speak to journalists over his choice of Jos for the quiet wedding with the former Miss Nigeria.
